Thursday, 23 November 2006 |
The Crop Protection working group of ProMusa will hold a global symposium on Recent advances in banana crop protection for sustainable production and sustainable livelihoods in South Africa, on 10-14 September 2007. This is the first meeting to be held under the alliance formed with the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
Originally created as a network of six interlinked working groups, ProMusa has been restructured to stimulate interactions across disciplines. The new structure consists of three working groups—crop improvement, crop protection and crop production—which will each hold global meetings at regular intervals. The proceedings of the meeting will be published in ISHS's Acta Horticulturae series.
Check the ProMusa website at www.promusa.org or the ISHS website at www.ishs.org for more information on the meeting.
