On 3-5 December, the traveling exhibit No end to the banana will be showcased at the Annual General Meeting of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). The meeting will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel, in Washington DC.
No end to the banana uses the banana as a vehicle to talk about genetic diversity and how research and development can use the existing diversity to produce better and healthier bananas for consumers everywhere and, at the same time, help improve the livelihoods of banana farmers.
In January, the exhibit will move to the lobby of the World Bank, in Washington DC, from where it will travel to other venues throughout the United States.
