| Brief description |
Development, as hard and electronic copies, and dissemination of a Diagnostic and Management Guide, posters and leaflets to train ‘trainers of trainers’. Preparation of messages for public awareness campaigns and participation in radio and TV talk shows. Participation in the development of guidelines to define disease typologies (disease-free, frontline or endemic areas).
Participation in the development of participatory monitoring and learning tools, indicators to assess the effectiveness of training and management tools, and delivery pathways.
Facilitating trans-boundary sharing of experiences and addressing gaps through linkages with National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS). Organizing exchange visits and information exchange.
Preparation of regional level reports on capacity building activities, disease spread and associated control measures implemented by NARS and affected communities.
