Produced by Bioversity, in collaboration with partners, No end to the banana is a traveling exhibition that looks at the diversity of bananas, and at who uses them and for what. It also shows how research can help us use this diversity to increase options for both small-scale farmers in the developing world and consumers in industrialized countries. The exhibition concludes by challenging people to reflect on the type of banana they are eating and the one they could eat.
The exhibition’s core is a lively display of text and pictures covering three main themes: The world’s favourite fruit, Why so many different bananas and What kind of future for the banana?
The complete text of the exhibit and design of the panels is available here as a PDF (2 MB).
